Witness the Gettysburg National Reenactment from home!
The first battles from the 150th Gettysburg National Civil War Reenactment have hit the Battlecast. Subscribers can now see highlights of the exciting opening action of the “Devil’s to Pay” battle in which thousands of Reenactors participated. Also on the Battlecast is gorgeous imagery of the “Crossroads of Destiny” battle, fought in the late afternoon light during the first day of the event on July 4th. Friday night, we added the “Springing the Trap” cavalry battle with close up action between the lines. Within this battle, cameras were mounted on horses for a “horse-eye” view of the clash. It all translates into some of the most exciting cavalry footage filmed at a Gettysburg event. Yesterday, we released to the Battlecast the epic “Wheatfield” battle that was fought Friday evening. It was such an awe inspiring spectacle that the Licensed Battlefield Guide narrating the engagement said several times he had never seen such a realistic battle fought at any event. We have seen the footage. The word “epic” does not do it justice. You simply must witness “The Wheatfield” battle on the Battlecast for yourself! We will keep the battle highlights coming fast and furious leading up to the live Pickett’s Charge today, Sunday.
